About Me
I graduated with a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley. In 2016, I earned a professional certificate in College Admissions and Career Planning from UC Berkeley Extension and began working with students. Currently, I am an independent college adviser, and a high school college adviser at Holy Names High School in Oakland. I primarily work with students in the East Bay but have experience working with students remotely on Zoom and FaceTime. I will cover in all areas of the college process with your student: assessments, academic and testing plans, college lists, essay work, financial aid, application management and more.
As a member of Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC), I am well-connected to the college advising and admissions world. With the knowledge and resources to successfully help your student through the college application process, we will work together to find the best college fit. To keep a pulse on campus culture, I visit colleges and universities across the country throughout the year. Additionally, I participate in professional development and attend conferences and seminars. My practice is based in the NACAC's "Statement of Principles of Good Practice."
I would love the opportunity to learn more about your student. Please contact me with any questions about my services. |
